With my huge passions for creating inventive designs and capturing audiences through writing, I recently graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Houston with my Bachelor's of Science in Digital Media and minor in Technology Leadership and Innovation Management. I have been honing my talents in digital media independently since 2016. I aim to create designs and utilize technology in a way that is unique, dynamic, and eye-catching - I want the work I make to come to life in a digital world.
My journey into the world of digital media began when I worked as an academy coordinator for a music academy in 2018. I managed their social media and mailing lists, created posters, and created promotions. As it was my first experience doing so and my manager had left within the first month, I was able to think on my feet and both learn and maintain many different facets of the business.
My time in the Digital Media program at the University of Houston allowed me to reimagine these skills in the context of the industry. In my senior year, I interned with For Our Future Action Fund, where I was able to apply these skills to a real world environment and help create and design social media posts and videos for Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok. I thrived under the instruction of experienced social media managers, and the first TikTok I created became the most played on their account with over 120K plays.
When I’m not working away at my designs, I’m freelancing as a voice actor and vocalist, allowing me to connect with creatives in various industries.
